Our foster daughter of six months was turning 5 years old and loved the cartoon show Doc McStuffins! She was about to leave our home with her brother and we were so glad we could celebrate with her before she left! I had a lot of fun putting this together for her. I hope you enjoy and get some great inspiration!
Our very happy birthday girl! She moved into our home right before we celebrated two of our kiddos birthday parties and was very much looking forward to her own party. She wanted to dress up and had such a good time! Oh I miss her so.
All of our Doc McStuffin's themed food!
These were a lot of fun to make. Pretzels (ours happen to be GF) with the ends dipped in white melting chocolate. I let them dry on wax paper and put on a plate. They were actually quite good, salty and sweet. :)
GF wafer cookies with frosting on them for our "bandaids" :)
Cotton Candy
Our stethoscope cake (with extra cupcakes so we had enough for our guests.)
Some of our decorations for our gift opening spot. Of course we had the cartoon on the TV in the background. :)
I made doctor coats and stethoscopes for all of the kids. Super fun and easy.
Doctor coats- I took adult small white haines T-shirts and cut down the middle of them. I then used a sewing hemming glue to iron so I got a folded edge. I didn't have time to dig my sewing machine out of the garage. They were a perfect size for the kids.
Stethoscopes- These were made from fabric colored headbands I found at the Dollar Tree. I used ribbon and grey felt to hot glue for the ear buds and for the end piece.
(I have no idea what that is called! LOL)
I found this game at party city and made paper bandaids that we taped on. It was Pin the bandaid on the boo-boo. But the games always come with only 8 pieces to pin on. So I made extra pieces by cutting paper and coloring on them with marker. I also wrote their names on them so we knew who pinned where.
The "Gift Shop"
I filled the gift bags with Doc McStuffins bandaids and hershey kisses for boo-boo's and fruit snacks and a few other little treats.
It was super fun to put together and the kids had a blast!
Is the lemonade, pink lemonade? I love all of this.
