What Led Me to You
A Mother's journey through foster care, adoption and
deepening her relationship with Christ through it all.
It is a story of finding joy in the midst of suffering.
Reflecting as a Mother through my journey of foster parenting and becoming a trans-racial and special needs family I found not only could I get through some of the hardest trials of my life but I found God at every step of the way.
Going through a traumatic injury with our very first foster placement only two weeks out of training we were left by DHS to fend for ourselves. After much prayer and reflection my husband and I decided to continue with this ministry.
I found a deeper desire for God. Layers were removed from my life and I was shaped and molded by learning to wait, realizing I have no control, and making hard decisions for both my family and the children in our care.

Our story shares our struggles but most of all it is an encouragement that God is worth more than I could ever want. He will show His plan for our lives and give us our desires but in His timing and His creative way. I am thankful we continued our ministry and were able to see how God completed our family.
